Very important: I don’t pretend I write reviews. I am not trying to convince you to read all the books here. This is, for the moment, only a place for me to share my book-related thoughts with the world.
After blogging in Romanian for about 4 years and a half on a personal blog that also included book-stuff, I decided to start an English blog only about books. Since I mostly read books not yet translated in Romanian, the potential conversation partners on a Romanian-only blog were limited; in English things can get more global :)
The name
As you might know, Mostly Harmless is the name of the 5th book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series. I bought the domain in 2006 for my personal blog and now I thought that “Mostly harmless books” has a nice ring to it. Books are harmless, they’re just pieces of paper… but what you read in them can sometimes have a very deep impact.
